RTA unveils improvements in school transport services in Dubai

RTA's Public Transport Agency has actually revealed a brand-new bundle of improvements in the school transport sector to even more enhance the big function of this sector. "Due to safety & security implications, and to enhance the capacity of school buses, March 1st had been set as a due date for eliminating the use of Minibuses (less than 6.2 meters in length) in school transportation services, following the granting of an 18 months grace duration to schools for phasing out this sort of buses from school transportation fleets. This sizable drop is associated to the productive cooperation between RTA, school managements, school transportation operators, and parents based on the compliance of school managements and school transportation companies with the provisions & specifications of the School Transport Law, as well as the reoccurring campaigns launched by RTA," continued Shakri.
