Reign Holdings Chairman Samir Salya Named by Forbes Middle East as One of the Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World

Regime Holdings Group Chairman, Samir Salya, has been named among India's leading entrepreneurs - in a significant international poll.

The 43-year-old was picked as one of the Top 100 Indian leaders in The Arab World in Forbes Middle East's annual round-up. Mr Salya, who developed multi-billion extra pound construction and realty company fund, Regime Holdings, shows up in the checklist for the 2 nd time.

The award, which is in its 6th year, recognises the big contribution being made in the Middle Eastern region by Indian-controlled firms.

Judges ranked candidates throughout a number of key business categories; gathering details from questionnaires, annual company reports and government and industry body statistics.

They thought about thoroughly the economic influence of Mr Samir Salya's Regime Holdings - analysing incomes as well as the age of the business and variety of staff members. A Forbes spokesman said: "The Indian community is one of the most populous expat
community in the Gulf, and probably the most effective as well.

" Indians today play a significant role in the GCC as they helm organisations that form a foundation of the regional economic situations. Billionaires of Indian origin, based in the Gulf, have a cumulative net worth of $26.4 billion.

" Having made their lot of money these leading entrepreneurs are currently investing heavily, both in the region as well as in India." Mr Samir Salya got his award at a glittering ceremony held at 5 Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE previously this month.

He said he was delighted to be in such well-regarded company, adding: "It's a real honour to have actually made the last 100 - and recognition of the great work my groups continue to perform in the region and beyon."

Reign Holdings, which began life in the UK and UAE in 1995, now supplies jobs all around the world, and has invested heavily in the Dubai tourism market.
