OK Mobility Expands UAE Presence with New Retail Points in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
OK Mobility, a global mobility platform, has announced a significant expansion in the United Arab Emirates, unveiling new retail and service locations in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The initiative, executed in partnership with Transit Auto Rental—a subsidiary of the Ghassan Aboud Group—aims to cater to the growing demand for modern, flexible mobility solutions among tourists, residents, and business travelers.
The expansion includes high-traffic retail points at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, and Sports City in Dubai, along with the Grandiose hypermarket in Abu Dhabi’s Corniche area. OK Mobility has also introduced personalized Meet & Greet services at Dubai International Airport—ranked the world’s busiest in 2024 with over 92 million passengers—and Abu Dhabi International Airport, which recorded 29 million passengers in the same year.
According to official tourism statistics, Dubai welcomed over 19 million visitors in 2024, while Abu Dhabi attracted more than 5 million, highlighting the UAE’s growing appeal as a travel destination. This surge has fueled demand for convenient, technology-driven transport solutions that prioritize customer experience.
Maher Aboud, CEO of Ghassan Aboud Group, described the collaboration as a “natural synergy” that aligns both companies’ commitment to market-driven innovation and sustainable growth. OK Mobility CEO Othman Ktiri emphasized that the partnership marks “a key step forward” in the company’s roadmap toward global leadership, adding that the UAE’s position as a “strategic development hub” complements the company’s vision for the future of mobility.
Husam Abuamer, General Manager of Transit Auto Rental, noted that the partnership will deliver “a whole range of new and innovative mobility solutions” to customers, leveraging the combined expertise of both organizations.
Looking ahead, OK Mobility and Transit Auto Rental plan to further expand their footprint across the UAE, introducing new services and innovations designed to enhance user experience and support the country’s broader smart mobility objectives.
