The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the global association of accountants and financial professionals in business, announced today that nominations have opened to find the Middle Easts top finance team of 2014. The IMA Finance Team of the Year Award 2014 is open to finance teams operating in the region across all industries and will be presented at an awards ceremony during the IMAMarcus Evans 6th Annual CFO Forum from May 1213, 2014, at the Address Hotel, Dubai Marina.

A panel of industry experts made up of the IMAs senior leadership will judge nominees based on financial performance, work environment, ethics and innovation, while winners will be chosen on a final judges vote.

The awards are designed to recognise achievements in management accounting for corporate finance teams and their success in positioning themselves as true business partners. Through the launch of these awards we want to promote industry wide best practice in the management accounting field which falls in line with IMAs overarching vision.

The awards are part of the IMAMarcus Evans 6th Annual CFO Forum, which is an event dedicated to exploring the changing role of the CFO in the Middle East, featuring high profile speakers from across the region and the rest of the world.
