NMDC LTS and Jiangsu Huaying Valves Sign MoU to Explore Valve Manufacturing Facility in UAE

NMDC LTS, a business vertical of the NMDC Group, and Jiangsu Huaying Valves Co. Ltd, a prominent Chinese valve manufacturer, have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the establishment of a valve assembly and fabrication facility in the United Arab Emirates. The announcement was made during the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) forum, being held in Abu Dhabi from 19 to 22 May 2025.

The proposed facility would focus on the assembly, fabrication, and distribution of valves specifically designed for use in the energy sector, catering to oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation industries. The initiative is being considered as a potential joint venture, combining the local and regional expertise of NMDC LTS with the manufacturing capabilities of Jiangsu Huaying.

Jiangsu Huaying, headquartered in China, is recognized for its engineering excellence in valve technology and serves a wide range of industrial sectors across the globe. By partnering with NMDC LTS, the company aims to localize production and enhance accessibility to high-quality valve solutions within the UAE and the broader Middle East region.

The MoU aligns with the objectives of the Make it in the Emirates initiative, which seeks to drive industrial growth, promote international collaboration, and stimulate economic development within the UAE. NMDC Group is using the MIITE platform to announce several strategic partnerships, reaffirm its commitment to local and international development, and provide updates on its growing pipeline of projects across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

This potential partnership is expected to not only enhance supply chain resilience within the UAE’s industrial ecosystem but also position the country as a regional hub for high-quality valve manufacturing for the energy sector.
