Complementing a new urban outdoor lifestyle, the analog-digital G-SHOCK GA-2000 series with the new Carbon Core Guard structure has a sleeker look than the usual G-SHOCK wristwatches. The lightweight model at 64 grams has a carbon fiber-reinforced case, guardless buttons, front light button, a double case back structure, and multi-color resin bands, in addition to its 3D index with high-contrast analog hands, LCD subdisplays, and a menu subdial. Estimating 51.2 x 48.7 x 14.1mm, the models other remarkable highlights incorporate shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, world time, 1/100 second stopwatch (24 hours total with split), countdown timer (24 hours), five alarms, hourly time signal, dual Super Illuminator LED lights, and an estimated three-year battery life.
