Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs signs MoU with Dubai Judicial Institute

The Ministry of Federal National Council Affairs and Dubai Judicial Institute have signed a memorandum of Understanding to enhance levels of cooperation and coordination to strengthen the culture of political participation and legal awareness in the UAE.

According to the MoU signed by His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, and H.E. Dr. Jamal Al Sumaiti, Director General of Dubai Judicial Institute, the two organisations will undertake a series of programmes and activities to raise political awareness in the country.

The Dubai Judicial Institute is one of the leading institutions in the UAE, playing an important role in educational and legal awareness in community. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the prestigious academic institute is aimed at achieving the strategic objective of the ministry to promote a culture of political participation, said His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah.

H.E. Lootah pointed out that the ministry is keen to cooperate with the various institutions of the society to strengthen partnerships that will contribute to enhancing the culture of political participation in the UAE, stressing that the initiative requires sincere and coordinated efforts to reach different segments of the society.

According to the MoU, the two sides agreed to form teams to work together towards implementing the joint programmes and activities, and offering recommendations and proposals necessary to achieve the objectives of this MoU.
