The Forum is organised over the course of three days by the United Arab Emirates University to mark UAE Innovation Month 2020.

As part of its activities to mark the UAE Innovation Month 2020, the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) is taking part in the ‘Innovation X 50’ forum, organised by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) over the duration of three days.

The MFNCA will use the Forum as a platform to exhibit the smart systems and applications it implements in order to understand its vision to enhance the relationship between the government and the Federal National Council and promote a culture of political participation in the UAE. The Ministry’s strategy seeks to increase cooperation with a number of government and social entities, in addition to improving its presence and participation at national and social activities. This, in turn, helps the MFNCA’s efforts to promote the culture of political participation among all members of the community – and the youth, in particular.

The Ministry of State for FNC Affairs will be showcasing the e-voting system at the exhibition – an inventive smart system that was created as a joint project bringing together a number of entities in the UAE. Visitors can watch photos of FNC discussions and debates through virtual reality devices, with representatives from the government present. The objective is to train all segments of the community about parliamentary life in the UAE, introducing them to the FNC’s processes and the efforts undertaken by of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs to enhance coordination between legislative and government authorities, in order to gain the country and its citizens.
