The Ministry of Economy and Tourism (MOET) showcased a series of innovative digital solutions at GITEX Global 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 13 to 17, as part of the Federal Government Pavilion. The latest technologies aim to accelerate and streamline the registration of trademarks, companies, and economic establishments across the UAE, marking a major milestone in the Ministry’s digital transformation journey.

Unveiled in the presence of H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, the new solutions leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance service efficiency and customer experience, aligning with the UAE’s broader strategy to achieve Zero Government Bureaucracy and support its ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision.

H.E. Bin Touq highlighted that the UAE continues to be a global benchmark in digital governance, driven by leadership that prioritizes innovation and proactive service delivery. He said, “GITEX Global is a leading global platform to showcase the UAE’s advancements in digital transformation and the new economy. Our Ministry remains committed to developing next-generation digital solutions that simplify business operations, enhance competitiveness, and promote sustainable economic growth.”

The Ministry introduced a smart trademark registration system designed for entrepreneurs, business owners, and investors. This digital solution aims to shorten processing time by up to 35%, reduce operational costs, and improve accuracy. It integrates AI-driven pathways that enhance trademark searches and registration:

These improvements are expected to increase the number of registered trademarks—both national and international—while minimizing disputes and improving service satisfaction.

In addition, the Ministry showcased its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) system, which uses AI-powered software robots to handle high-volume, rule-based administrative tasks with minimal human input. Initially implemented through the Establishment Profile service, the RPA automates data extraction and validation from documents and emails, thereby accelerating company registration and other economic procedures. The Ministry plans to extend RPA capabilities across more services in the coming phases.

Through these digital initiatives, the Ministry of Economy and Tourism continues to strengthen the UAE’s standing as a global leader in digital governance and innovation, fostering a smart, efficient, and business-friendly environment that meets the needs of the modern economy.
