HE Salem Almoosa, Chairman and General Manager of Salem Ahmad Almoosa Enterprises (SAAE), newly received an award of appreciation from His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, for hosting the Ramadan Council for the Ministry of Interior (MoI) this year, during a ceremony held recently at Aloft Hotel Abu Dhabi.

The Ramadan Council was held on May 13 under the theme Human Fraternity, and highlighted the UAE's pioneering role in spreading the values and principles of peace, love and tolerance. Participants in the Council underlined the importance of Human Fraternity as a universal humanitarian value that binds people collected and spreads tolerance, love and cooperation amongst them.

Mentioning on the recognition, HE Almoosa said: I consider the occasion to host the Ramadan Majlis on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, in line with the vision and efforts of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces a great privilege and honor. This years theme Human Fraternity, aptly summarized the values of peace, fraternity, coexistence, tolerance, and acceptance of others, which are the very essentials that make the UAE the country that it is today. This years Ramadan Majlis was even more important as it overlapped with the Year of Tolerance in 2019, which reflects our wise leaderships commitment to upholding the principle of tolerance and other values established by our Founding Father. It turned out to be the perfect occasion to renew our commitment to transforming the UAE into a leading model of peace and human coexistence for the region and the world. I also take this occasion to express my appreciation and gratitude to the Ministry of Interior."
