Khaleej Times' 'We the Women' Conference Returns for Fourth Edition in Dubai, Empowering Female Voices Across Industries

Khaleej Times' signature women-focused event, We the Women, is set to return to Dubai for its fourth edition on October 29, 2025, at The Address Skyview. This anticipated one-day conference will once again bring together women leaders, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, and change-makers from across diverse industries to foster candid conversations on leadership, identity, ambition, and mental well-being.

At the helm of the event is Emmy-nominated journalist Barkha Dutt, a leading voice for women’s empowerment and founder of the original We the Women conference series in India. In partnership with KT Events, Dutt will lead this UAE edition, creating a space for honest dialogue and connection.

This year’s conference reflects the UAE’s steadfast commitment to gender parity, innovation, and inclusion, as the nation continues to be a magnet for aspiring businesswomen and professionals from around the globe. The event aims to provide attendees with real-world strategies, mentorship, and insights to overcome the unique challenges women face in the workplace and beyond.

“In a world where success for women can sometimes come at the cost of isolation, We the Women provides a vital support system,” said Barkha Dutt. “Our goal is to educate, empower, and connect women from all walks of life, offering solutions to everyday professional and personal challenges through lived experiences and shared wisdom.”

Previous editions of the conference have featured some of the most inspirational voices in the UAE and beyond, including:

  • Nayla Al Khaja – First Emirati female filmmaker

  • Jessica Smith – Paralympian

  • Tracy Harmoush – Podcaster

  • Noor Stars – Influencer

  • Hana Nabulsi – Emirati athlete

  • Butheina Kazim – Founder of Cinema Akil

  • Suhaila Ghubash – Dubai Economy and Tourism

Attendees can expect a dynamic program of panel discussions, storytelling sessions, and networking opportunities designed to build community and ignite action. The conference also stands as a celebration of the resilience, ambition, and competence of women, encouraging them to challenge stereotypes and step confidently into leadership roles.

As Barkha Dutt previously noted, “Sometimes, success can attract unfair criticism or judgment — especially for women. But through We the Women, we are creating a tribe, a safe space, and a launchpad for support, solidarity, and strength.”
