Key aviation players endorse Airport Show with sponsorship

The 14th edition of Airport Show, to be held in Dubai from May 11 to 13 with Global Airport Leaders Forum (GALF) and Travel Catering Expo (TCE) as co-located events, has received strong sponsorship support from key aviation industry players keen on strengthening their regional presence.

The worlds leading B2B event for the airport industry has received the sponsorship of G4s (Platinum), emaratech (Gold) and Smartworld and Ultra Electronics Ithra (Silver). Honeywell is the sponsor of the Innovation Podium; LG is sponsoring the Show Bag while the Lanyards have been sponsored by DTP.

Airport Show-2014 has been sold out. Held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, the Show will occupy a gross exhibition space of 12,600 square metres. Exhibitors have surged by 11 per cent to reach 250 this year. A record 39 countries will be represented, including eight new entrants-Estonia, India, Libya, Luxemburg, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Thailand.

The Hosted Buyers Programme will see the record participation of 105 decision-makers representing 38 airport operators and civil aviation authorities from 19 countries. The Show will feature six country pavilions, including the first-ever US-Canada joint marquee. There will be a record 37 free seminar sessions at the Innovation Podium.

G4S will utilize its presence as a Platinum Sponsor by hosting a 30-minute session in the Innovation Podium on how its global aviation security solutions cater for the Middle East.
