Join the True Joy of Eid as Eid in Dubai Celebrations kicks off today

The city of Dubai will once again be the regional center of festivities and celebrations as the Eid in Dubai Eid Al Adha kicks off its events and activities from today, 25th September, till the 11th of October across the vibrant emirate. Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), the Eid in Dubai celebration will run under its slogan of United in Celebration reflecting the social harmony of Dubais 200 plus nationalities celebrating all together the same joyous occasion.

The 17-day celebrations aims at attracting visitors and families from Dubai, the neighboring emirates and the GCC countries, building on the fact that most families will be enjoying a long Eid school break. Visitors and residents will have the opportunity to enjoy a host of festival-themed entertainment, including events and activities designed to cater to families and individuals of all nationalities.

The organisers have chosen the Gifting theme for this Eid, as it is a main tradition among celebrating families across the region. The theme will be complemented by the city-wide decorations that further enhance the lively festive atmosphere of the city.

Shoppers can also look forward to a world-class shopping experience in Dubai, with the leading malls and shopping centers offering extended hours providing visitors ample time to enjoy the emirates bustling retail scene topped off by exciting promotions and family-oriented in-mall entertainment throughout the 17 days of festivities.
