Its a date! Gulfood gives UAEs Nadiya FZE Indian duty free break

Date and Arabic sweet items from the UAE's Nadiya FZE are to go on sale at Cochin International Airport in Kerala later this year following 2 years of negotiations which began at Gulfood in Dubai-- the world's biggest yearly food and hospitality trade convention.

Ismail Gibran, Business Development Manager, Nadiya FZE confirmed today that sales will start in Cochin Duty Free in the second half of this year as the business wants to expand its task free company, which now makes up between 10 % -15 % of its turnover.

"The contact was made at Gulfood a couple of years back and has now transpired into real business," said Gibran.

With the Cochin advancement, Nadiya FZE, which runs a packaging and processing plant in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone, and markets date products under the Nadiya brand along with standard Arabic sweets under its Al Mealin brand, is now present in responsibility releases in Dubai and Qatar.
