Investment Across EMEA With Middle Eastern Expansion Boosted By Rackspace

Rackspace is investing heavily throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in 2020 as part of its overall strategy to be the best technology services company in the world. As part of this ambition, it currently declares its extending into the Middle East to improve the support of local customers.

The enlargement is recommended by a multi-million dollar investment and includes the launch of a hub located in Dubai, UAE, which will hire a strong salesforce, expert services consultants and marketing support. The focus on recruitment will help the cloud competencies gap locally, further improving the client experience delivered in the region.

The move responds to both Rackspaces mounted success in the Middle East as it presently has over 500 clients in the region, as well as the market growth and maturity of cloud technology.

The approach will be led by George Pawlyszyn who has been appointed as General Manager, Middle East and Africa (MEA) at Rackspace. He will be focussed on offering trusted and unbiased knowledge to migrate clients to the cloud securely and improve present customers environment while working intently with partners, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.

George has over 30 years experience in management and business development and joins from IBM where he was Business Development Executive MEA Leader, responsible for driving large scale and long-term strategic services.
