Indian Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, to Inaugurate the 2nd UAE-India Economic Forum
Indian Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, has been welcomed to inaugurate the 2nd edition of the UAE India Economic Forum (UIEF), while the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr. M.J. Akbar will deliver a keynote speech on day two of the highly anticipated for gathering.
The two-day conference is hosted by the Consulate General of India, Dubai along with Bloomberg Businessweek Middle East and produced by UMS Conferences with the assistance of UAE's Ministry of Economy.
The focus of this year's online forum will be investment chances in India's infrastructural projects with the events sessions clarifying sectors that offer appealing financial investment opportunities, including infrastructure, ports and railways, tourism and hospitality, healthcare, agriculture and food security.
The line-up of speaker consists of H.E Marwan Bin Jassim Al Sarkal, CEO, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq); H.E. UIEF has emerged as a conclusive networking and knowledge-sharing platform for significant investors and government leaders from the UAE and India. The 2016 edition is arranged to happen on the 19-- 20 October at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, and is supported by the UAE's Ministry of Economy, UAE International Investors Council, Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Invest India and Abu Dhabi Global Market.
The first edition of the forum last year was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Jaitley, India's Finance Minister-- bringing together a number of popular figures from the UAE and India's business community and government entities under one platform and generating tremendous value for participants from across industries
