HONOR empowers everyday creators through ‘Master the Light’ photography masterclass at Dubai Mall
HONOR, a global AI device ecosystem company, has concluded its “Master the Light” photography masterclass at the HONOR Experience Store in Dubai Mall, highlighting its commitment to creative education and its evolving vision for experiential retail.
The masterclass brought together photography enthusiasts and mobile imaging users for a hands-on learning experience centered on the HONOR Magic8 Pro and its AI-powered camera capabilities. Led by professional photographer Mohamed Akram Bensaifi, the session aimed to bridge professional photography techniques with everyday creativity, demonstrating how advanced imaging technology can be used intuitively in real-world scenarios.
Participants were guided through both technical concepts and live application, gaining practical insight into how artificial intelligence enhances mobile photography. A key focus was AI Zoom, powered by the Magic8 Pro’s 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto and AI Super Zoom, which enables users to capture detailed images from a distance while preserving clarity and minimizing distortion commonly associated with digital zoom.
The session also explored Magic Color, a feature that allows users to apply cinematic, film-inspired tones instantly, transforming everyday images without the need for post-production editing. In addition, attendees experienced the AI Button, a dedicated hardware shortcut designed to enable fast and responsive image capture, particularly useful for spontaneous moments and high-speed action shots.
The masterclass concluded with the Pro-Shot Challenge, an in-store photography competition that tested participants’ newly acquired skills. Given 10 minutes to capture a portrait using the HONOR Magic8 Pro, attendees demonstrated how quickly technical understanding could be translated into confident creative execution.
