His Excellency Mohammed bin Jarsh Al Falasi, Undersecretary of the Department of Energy in Abu Dhabi (DoE), announced that Emirati women epitomise hope, development and prosperity and are major contributors to the UAEs continuous story of success.

On the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, His Excellency said: Women are the backbone of our community and our wise leadership has connected the highest quality to empowering them and providing them with the essential knowledge, skills and training to improve their position in culture and to make the most beneficial use of their skills.

Emirati women signify loyalty and commitment in every role they carry out to serve the nation. Within their unbelievable array of contributions, the UAE has succeeded in achieving various development projects, with many women at the fore of these actions.

His Excellency added: The determination and commitment of women in the workplace and in building our future periods is the reason for our nations success at all levels. Their multi-faceted role sees them achieve an extraordinary collection of expert participation as well as change our countrys culture, customs and beliefs to their children an important role that continues the preservation of the UAEs proud legacy.

His Excellency endorsed that Emirati women are central to the energy sector in Abu Dhabi, which flourishes a large group of specialised female cadres. At DoE, for example, 44% of employees are females, of which 20% are in leadership and supervisory professions while 80% occupy specialist, technical and administrative roles. He said that the women in the industry are necessary associates for success and significant to managing the sectors array of goals.

He stressed that the DoE attributes great attention to developing the abilities of working women and equipping them with all medians to guarantee that they perform the right equilibrium within their home and professional lives to secure the triumphant raising of their families alongside the continued accomplishments of the energy sector at all levels.
