As peak winter travel kicks in, Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) have rolled out their biggest-ever combined network, with airlines adding new routes, restoring high-capacity aircraft and increasing frequencies — from Virgin Atlantic’s larger A350 deployment and British Airways’ return of the A380, to new links from Central Asia, Europe, Iran and Pakistan — while traffic from Saudi Arabia alone now makes up 7.8 per cent of total passengers and continues to grow strongly, especially at DWC, which is fast emerging as a key hub for regional and European travel. Do you think this expanded network will ease peak-season travel pressure, or are delays and crowding still inevitable during winter rush?
