What rules must UAE mainland employers follow when terminating an employee during probation?

Under UAE Employment Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021), an employer may terminate an employee during a probation period of up to six months, but must give at least 14 days’ prior written notice and settle all dues up to the last working day, including pending salary and compensation for any accrued unused leave where applicable; the employer must also provide a free experience certificate on request stating service dates, role, last salary and reason for termination, without including anything that could harm the employee’s reputation or future job prospects — do you think the current probation termination rules fairly balance employer flexibility and employee protection, or should they be stricter?
