During Ramadan 2026, residents and visitors can experience three major free-to-attend cultural events celebrating community spirit, heritage, and creativity. In Dubai, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is hosting “Ramadan Nights by the Creek” from March 2 to 7, part of the “Season of Togetherness” initiative launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The event features a vibrant Ramadan Market with over 30 local brands, Emirati street food, poetry evenings, and family workshops. In Sharjah, the Al Dhaid Fort welcomes visitors to its inaugural “Al Dhaid Ramadan Festival” from February 26 to March 11, organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. It showcases heritage activities, live entertainment, a farmers’ market, and children’s competitions running nightly from 9pm to midnight. Adding to the festivities, “Sharjah Heritage Nights” at Al Sur Square runs from February 26 to March 23, organized by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage. This long-standing event immerses families in Emirati culture with folk performances, handicraft stalls, a puppet theatre, and the beloved “Storyteller’s Tales.” Together, these events offer a season rich in culture, reflection, and togetherness for all ages.
