How has the process of renewing or replacing Emirates ID cards changed for UAE citizens?

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has simplified the procedure into just one step—citizens now only need to submit the application and pay the fees, with validity automatically set based on age (10 years for those 21+, 5 years for those under 21). 🙌 Do you think this “zero bureaucracy” move will make life easier for citizens, or are there still areas where services could be simplified further?
