THE FINALE OF THE DUBAI RACING SEASON WAS CO-SPONSORED BY AZIZI DEVELOPMENTS

Azizi Developments, a popular private developer in the UAE, co-sponsored the closing race night of the Racing at Meydan 2020-2021 season. The sponsorship of the season came as part of the developer’s commitment to assemble communities together, support events that put Dubai on the world stage, and develop interest in the equestrian sport - a deeply embedded part of the UAE’s cultural heritage.

Azizi Development’s Head of Public Relations & Communications, Mr Tizian H. G. Raab, handed over the trophies to the winning connections of the 2000m (a10F) Turf Race.

Azizi’s close association with Dubai Racing Club has extended over 5 years, supporting Dubai’s positioning as a leading destination for sports and high-profile international events.

Commenting on the time-honoured sponsorship, Mr Tizian H. G. Raab said, “We are proud of our continued affiliation with this event - one that brings together some of the region’s leading connections and most talented equestrians. With the pandemic having curtailed most of the events this year, we are delighted to once again be part of a safe gathering that embodies a profoundly touching experience for not only those who share a passion for the sport, but also for all those who value rejoicing in hope and togetherness – with all government regulations and health precautions being taken and adhered to, of course.”

He added “We will continue to support high-calibre events that showcase this great emirate – a global leader in business, tourism and innovation, and undoubtedly the best place to visit, live and work in – to the world”.

Azizi’s calculated partnership with Dubai Racing Club is also in line with the location of its world-renowned developments - its flagship master-planned French Mediterranean-inspired community, Riviera in MBR City, for instance, is situated in immediate vicinity to the Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse – home of the Dubai World Cup, Dubai World Cup Carnival and Racing at Meydan meets.

The waterfront-lifestyle destination is planned to comprehend approximately 16,000 residences that are strategically located in the nub of all the business, leisure, and retail hubs of the city.

Riviera features three districts: an extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins — a vast, lush-green social space. Designed to launch the south-eastern France lifestyle to Dubai, which is not merely about architectural art, but also about a certain ‘joie de vivre’ – a celebration of life, an exultation of spirit – Riviera represents a new landmark destination in Dubai.
