One mystical ghaf tree, two gutsy Emirati siblings and three supportive robo-guardians have been uncovered as the mascot family for Expo 2020 Dubai, setting out on an exciting experience through time and space to find the significance behind the following World Expo.

Latifa is a curious eight-year-old girl who fantasies about getting to be one of the world's most noteworthy creators. The talkative youth who cherishes playing with her chemistry set and dismantling electronics is quick to impart her insight to other people and continually searching for a chance to gain some new useful knowledge.

Her brother, nine-year-old Rashid, cares deeply for the environment and enjoys poetry, drawing, riddles and family tales passed down through the generations.
The two siblings draw inspiration from the insight of Salama, a desert-dwelling Ghaf tree who disregards the Expo 2020 site and was protected during construction. Hundreds of years old, the enchanted character is referred for her enrapturing narrating just as her broad knowledge of UAE history and culture.
Under Salamas careful eye, Latifa and Rashid go on an energizing adventure guided by the robots Opti, Alif and Terra who represent Expo 2020s three subthemes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability, respectively.

During their experience, Rashid and Latifa must open Salamas privileged insights, discover the world-changing inventions uncovered at past World Expos and find all about Expo 2020 and the stunning heritage it will leave behind.
