ENOC and Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) Sign Agreement to Train Young National Talent for Oil & Gas Sector
Dubai, UAE; December 12, 2016: Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), a wholly-owned entity of the Government of Dubai, authorized an agreement with HCT's Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) to train high-school graduates employed by the ENOC Group in a technical work readiness programme for the oil & gas industry.
This initiative becomes part of the ENOC National Growth Programme which is developed to improve Emiratization efforts throughout the Group by supporting young skill to build a competent and reputable labor force that contributes to the UAE's economic progress. After effective conclusion of the programme, students will certainly be licensed according to international City & Guilds standards and will be equipped with a wide variety of skills and knowledge relating to the industry, the Group's requirements and the graduates' duty at ENOC.
Chosen prospects will certainly be evaluated by the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) and the one-year program will certainly be carried out by CERT for programs in Certification in Engineering and Diploma in Process Innovation.
