Emirates win NBT IMPACT2030 Innovation Award for Corporate Volunteerism

The region's leading bank, Emirates NBD, has been recognized by IMPACT2030 for its pioneering efforts in employee volunteerism and corporate social responsibility, the United Nations Corporate Volunteer Division.
The name of the bank is the IMPACT2030 Innovation Award winner, its in-house voluntary program exchange authorization. The IMPACT2030 Innovation Awards recognize excellence in collaborative skills, experience and talent of Corporate Volunteers towards the United Nations, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - a universal call adopted by all countries in 2015 to end poverty and protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The Emirates NBD Exchange Program provides employees and partners with the opportunity to serve the community, empowering individuals with disabilities (people with disabilities), Women's empowerment, health and wellness, environmental and social development. The project has completed 21,000 volunteer hours per year by 2019, with 2,045 active exchanges and 311 volunteer activities completed. About 217,000 members of the public have been positively and directly affected by this year's exchange program.

Emirates NBD seeks to invest in social responsibility projects and solutions that address the United Arab Emirates Vision 2021, and United Nations Environment Project Declaration for Dubai Sustainable Fund launched by UNEP FI during the 14th Global Roundtable, sponsored by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.
The bank, champion of private volunteerism, aims to persuade UAE citizens and residents to invest in their community, Such as the Dubai Volunteer Center of the Community Development Authority (CDD) and this year's volunteers, NBD merged its 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives with the seven pillars of the United Arab Emirates' Tolerance Year. Key areas of Emirates NBD's 2019 CSR program include improving donor bases, promoting financial literacy, promoting volunteer efforts and collaborating with corporate colleagues towards sustainable social responsibility.
IMPACT2030 was established in response to a United Nations resolution calling on countries to engage with the private sector through the expansion of corporate volunteer and employee volunteer activities. IMPACT2030 facilitates cross-sector and cross-industry cooperation; Initiating joint commitments on human capital investments for STGs at the local, national and national level; and Developing a framework and methodology to measure the effects and impact of human capital investments on SDGs.
