e& UAE has launched a secure website hosting service for government entities and businesses, combining locally hosted infrastructure with round-the-clock network and cybersecurity monitoring.
The managed service is hosted within e& UAE's on-premises data centres and operates under the oversight of the UAE Cyber Security Council. It is designed for organisations seeking greater control over website security, availability, performance and data residency.
The service combines hosting infrastructure with continuous monitoring through e& UAE's Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Security Operations Centre (SOC).
24/7 network and security monitoring
The NOC monitors website performance, availability and network health, while the SOC provides continuous visibility into security events, threats and vulnerabilities.
The integrated monitoring system is intended to help identify potential issues at an earlier stage and support faster incident response, reducing the risk of downtime and disruption to digital services.
His Excellency Dr Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, said organisations should incorporate security into the design and operation of their digital infrastructure as government and business services become increasingly dependent on digital platforms.
He also highlighted the importance of maintaining oversight of data and systems and ensuring appropriate monitoring and incident-response measures are in place.

Security controls and scalable infrastructure
The hosting service includes security measures such as firewalls, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection and log monitoring.
Customers can also access additional capabilities including web application firewall (WAF) protection, vulnerability assessments and security reporting.
e& UAE said local hosting can provide organisations with greater control over data residency while potentially reducing network latency. Hosting resources can also be scaled according to changing demand, business growth and digital transformation requirements.
Service-level agreements cover areas including availability, technical support and incident response, providing customers with defined service parameters.
Targeted at government and business websites
The service is aimed at government organisations, enterprises and medium-sized businesses operating public-facing, high-traffic or business-critical websites.
It is also designed for IT, cybersecurity and digital transformation teams seeking locally hosted infrastructure combined with continuous operational and security oversight.
The managed approach brings hosting, monitoring and security services under a single provider, potentially reducing the operational workload for internal IT teams.
