E& Emirates Achieves 56% Emiratisation, Setting Benchmark for National Workforce Development

E& Emirates, the telecom arm of the global technology group E&, has recorded a significant milestone in its Emiratisation strategy, with a 56% increase in Emirati representation within its workforce in 2025. This marks a sharp rise from 49% in 2021, underscoring the company’s steadfast commitment to empowering national talent and aligning with the UAE’s vision of a competitive, knowledge-based economy.

The strategic increase reflects E& Emirates’ comprehensive initiatives to enhance local leadership and integrate national talent across all levels of the organization. Emiratis currently hold more than 60% of senior management roles, signaling strong confidence in local capabilities and a clear investment in future national leadership.

The company has also made remarkable strides in gender inclusion. Emirati women now make up 82% of the company's female workforce — the highest rate in the company's history. This achievement highlights E& Emirates’ commitment to promoting gender diversity and creating equitable professional opportunities.

E& Emirates has also invested significantly in preparing its workforce for the digital future. Since 2021, the company has empowered 284 Emirati graduates through its Artificial Intelligence Graduate Program — well before the global surge in AI applications. This proactive training initiative underscores the company’s forward-thinking approach and its role in shaping the country’s technological landscape.

Ali Al Mansouri, Chief Human Resources Officer at E&, commented, “These achievements reflect our enduring commitment to Emiratisation, diversity, and sustainable growth. National talent is the cornerstone of our strategic vision, and we are proud to be a key contributor to the UAE’s innovation and economic development agenda.”

He added, “Our Emiratisation efforts are guided by a long-term vision that emphasizes investment in people. Through tailored programs such as the AI Graduate Program and strategic career development pathways, we have been able to nurture and elevate Emirati talent to positions of leadership.”

E& Emirates continues to support national employment by actively participating in job fairs, including X-Tadweef, Zaheb, and the National Service Employment Exhibition. These platforms have enabled the company to offer a range of opportunities in technology, sales, and technical support for Emirati high school and university graduates.

“Career fairs are crucial in connecting talent with meaningful opportunities,” Al Mansouri noted. “Through these platforms, we have succeeded in offering hundreds of competitive roles, reinforcing our position as an employer of choice for Emirati nationals.”

Through these achievements and its strategic partnerships, E& Emirates continues to lead in human capital development and economic empowerment, setting new benchmarks for Emiratisation and reinforcing its role in building a sustainable, inclusive future for the UAE.
