In a world-wide economic contraction, Dubai Scholars (DS) is shifts the trend when it opens its new addition in September 2021. The 34,000 square feet addition will increase the schools enrollment capacity by 400 students.

Dubai Scholars has a long history of excellent academic and along with that it also has a long waitlist. Each year an extensive number of new students and siblings await to find out if they have been admitted to the in-demand school. The new building will not only offers much needed expanded capacity but also support the introduction of DSs new enrichment initiatives centered on next-generation skills development. These initiatives involve the introduction of Synthesis of Learning (SoL) a new program based on a constructivist approach that allows for children to fully apply their learning to tangible and real-world concerns, a full revamp of the schools Extra Curricular Activities to support a rich provision of non-academic activities for holistic development, as well as the introduction of a new extended day provision to provide more learning opportunities for all children.

The new construction will wind up by August 2021 and will be the largest new construction the school has taken on since opening at its present location in 1994. The ground plus three building will include a number of science labs as well as the new Media Studies Lab.
