Dubai Municipalitys Montaji Wins Hamdan Flag Award for Best Government Service in 2017

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Royal Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, handed the "Hamdan Flag" award for best government effort to Dubai Town for its "Montaji" initiative. The winning initiative was picked from amongst 8 finalists by an on the internet popular vote.

Montaji is a consumer product registration initiative by Dubai Municipality, enabling consumers to validate the information and safety of all consumer products (Cosmetics, Perfumes, Supplements, Detergents and Biocides) offered in Dubai markets. Consumers can instantly validate if the item is signed up and compliant with Dubai Town laws, just by checking the bar-code of the product.

The finalists experienced a collection of examinations - consisting of individually interviews - before being shortlisted for the general public's vote.
