Dubai Maritime City Authority Celebrates Strategic Partners

The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has today (Wednesday, January 10, 2018) held an event to identify the payments of its strategic partners from both the general public and economic sectors in responding efficiently to emergencies. The Authority commended its joint efforts with its partners which falls in line with global standards for making certain maritime security within Dubai's territorial waters.

Amer Ali, Executive Director of the DMCA, commended the outstanding support of government entities and personal companies in effectively acting upon emergency situations and the technical abilities required to manage such events. He said: "The DMCA is dedicated to enhancing emergency preparedness according to international ideal techniques in compliance with federal and local legislation in order to create a safe, sustainable and diverse maritime community which boosts the competitiveness, inclusiveness and appearance of Dubai. We deeply value, the outstanding function played by our public and economic sector partners and their sychronisation and rewarding cooperation in uplifting Dubai's maritime industry."

Attendees agreed on the value of coordination, assimilation and collaboration in additional boosting Dubai's affordable capacities in dealing with maritime emergencies and dilemmas, based on sophisticated and innovative innovations and under the supervision of qualified human resources to ensure the highest standards of maritime safety.

Captain Khamis Weld Ghumail, Director of Maritime Traffic Management, DMCA, said: "We would like to thank our tactical partners for their continued dedication to support our ruthless efforts to enhance maritime safety criteria as a key element in enhancing the competition of the local maritime field.
