Dubai Customs Welcomes Hujjaj Returning Home

As the servants of Allah, the Hujjaj, are returning from their journeys of a lifetime, Dubai Customs is on the alert to grant them a warm and reverent welcome. Across all border ports of Dubai, customs staff receive the pilgrims on arrival to the UAE with gifts and sweets wrapped in a wide and generous smile.
Special measures were taken to facilitate the flow of passengers coming from Mecca, including dedicated gateways and streamlined entry procedures for the utmost satisfaction of our pilgrims.
Out of his willingness to ensure that all visitors and arrivals to the UAE are duly received, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, paid an inspection visit during Eid Al Adha holidays to the staff of Passenger Operations Department at Dubai International Airport. He expressed his satisfaction with the topnotch readiness aura among DC staff to give arrivals to the country, including the Hujjaj, a comforting welcome and a service level that exceeds their expectations. This is evidence of our employees sense of commitment and dedication to maintain the UAEs good image as a hospitable and welcoming nation, said Ahmed Mahboob.
DC Director stated that the Customs has taken every necessary measure to receive the Hujjaj, who started arriving into Dubai airports on Monday evening, in the greatest conditions. This is undertaken in close collaboration with all stakeholders at Dubai airports, including Civil Aviation Authority, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai Polices General Department of Airport Security, Dubai Health Authority, Ministry of Health, and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.
As an active member of the Hajj and Umrah Committee, Dubai Customs saves no effort to fully take on its role in synergy with other strategic government actors so as to meet the overall vision of Dubai Government, as set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai the vision that aims to deliver high-quality public services for optimal customer satisfaction and wellbeing.
