Dubai Courts, Aster Hospital and Medcare Hospital, part of Aster DM Healthcare, provided free breast cancer screening to employees of the court as it heads an awareness initiative for breast cancer.

The screening kicked off on October 13 at the Dubai Court premises wherein hundreds of employees went for health checkups and screening. Around 100 male and 300 female staff from judges to regular employees benefitted from the free checkups and breast cancer screenings. Doctors from both Aster Hospital and Medcare Hospital, assisted by their respective healthcare practitioners, attended to the employees during the checkup.

Doctors from Aster were: Dr.Moutusi Audhya, Dermatologist, Al warqa; Dr. Mithun Shivgouda, Orthopedic specialist, Aster Medical Centre Marina; Dr. Jayashankar, Specialist in Internal Medicine, Aster Hospital, Mankhool, Dubai; Dr. Vanesha Varik, Laparoscopic and General Surgeon at Aster Hospital, Mankhool; and, Dr. Amal Upadhayay, Consultant in Gastroenterology at Aster Hospital, Mankhool.

Doctors from Medcare were Ms.Nadine Clinical Dietician, Medcare Hospital; Dr.Fahima, Gynecologist; and, Dr. Saleem, Aster Mobile Clinic who supported the screening program.

Together with Dubai Courts, the ongoing initiative is part of Aster DM Healthcares CSR programme using Dr. Aster Mobile Clinic.
