Disinfection Drive Supplementing Has Been Rolled Out In Dubai Investments Park As Dubai Municipality Sterilization Initiatives

Dubai Investments Park [DIP], the unique integrated commercial, industrial & residential community in the Middle East, entirely-owned by Dubai Investments PJSC, initiated a disinfection drive throughout all common areas in Dubai Investments Park zones, supplementing Dubai Municipality sterilization drive, enforced as part of the precautionary measures against the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The sanitization and fogging activities were executed in accordance with the highest international standards using best-in-class products and in line with the guidelines as outlined by the Dubai Municipality.

The disinfection drive includes sanitization and pest fogging covered common areas across DIP 1 & DIP 2 which includes common pathways, bus stops, signages, garbage bins, near supermarkets, near restaurants, community parks, common car parks, schools, labor accommodations and common residential areas.

Discussing on the disinfection drive, Omar Al Mesmar, General Manager, Dubai Investments Park, stated that, Rendering of services remotely by alternate channels focused at restricting the inflow and outflow, alongside other awareness drives, targeted at mitigating the impacts were already rolled out and the sanitization and fogging initiative aims at further complementing the measures. With the size, proximity and nature of business throughout DIP, it was essential to enforce additional measures in the interest of the community and we will be enforcing more rounds in the coming weeks.

Specialized sanitization and disinfection teams used spraying machines to sterilize trucks and cars, and disinfectant fogging machines, steam cleaning machines and disinfectant sprayer compressed machines to sterilize roads and common areas.

Dubai Investments Park has restored valuing and supporting the directives of Dubai government during this time and supporting and enhancing the initiatives of Dubai Municipality in support with other government departments towards making sure the highest level of safety possible according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization and international best practices.
