DEWA honours 25 distinguished employees

In line with its efforts to recognise its employees for their dedicated service, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) honoured 25 distinguished staff members.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, accompanied by Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, EVP of Business Support and Human Resources at DEWA, honoured them at an awards ceremony held at DEWA Headquarters in the presence of senior officials and employees of DEWA.

Al Tayer praised the dedicated work of DEWAs employees and assured that DEWA has launched new awards and rewards programmes, to promote a culture of creativity, and urged its staff to strive for excellence, and improve their skills, to optimise overall operations.

Al Tayer called upon DEWA associates to exert more efforts to keep up their distinction at DEWA, and maintain its achievements that surpass its counterparts worldwide.

DEWA is keen to recognise distinguished employees and technical specialists and further strengthen their loyalty and sense of belonging. Through this ceremony, we aim to elevate the professionalism of our employees and enhance the services provided to our customers to the highest levels of efficiency, said Dr. Al Akraf.

Al Tayer accompanied by Dr. Al Akraf honoured the winners in various categories as follow: Jaffer Murad Abdullah - Distinguished Employee of DEWA; Ruby Palma Navera, and Muna Humaid Saeed Al Dehail, Administration and Finance; Sunnykutty Mathew, Specialised Fields; Mohammed Hussain Khan, 1st place, and Rab Nawaz Bhurt. 2nd place, Technical and Engineering; Swapan Kumar Saha Upendra, and Hanan Ahmed Mohammed Abdouli, Field Services; Abhay Kumar Patil, Supervisory Jobs; and Mohammad Usman Baloch, 1st place, and Faiz Noor Mohammed, 2nd place, Unknown Soldier category.

Al Tayer accompanied by Dr. Al Akraf also honoured Fatma Essa Almuhairi, in the Distinguished Employee - New Recruit category; Salem Ibrahim Bin Hendi, and Reem Abdulla Mustafawi, in the Distinguished Employee UAE National category, Amina Eisa Albalooshi, in the secretary category, and Irfan Ahsan Siddiqui, in the Creativity category.

Al Tayer also honoured the Creative Emergency team from Distribution Power Division. The team included Hassan Ahmad Al Hammadi, Khamis Obaid Khamis Al Suwaidi, Nabila Obaid Humaid Al Shamsi, Mohammed Hassan Ali, Somasundaram Sivasubramanian, Mohammed Tawfeeq Shafiq,
