Childrens creativity gets a showcase at Lloyd Warbeys arts and crafts workshops in Modhesh World

After concluding his first arts and crafts workshop at Dubai Festival City Mall which was a phenomenal success, Lloyd Warbey -the celebrated presenter from Disneys Art Attack show is becoming a source of inspiration for numerous art enthusiasts in Dubai who are coming out in huge numbers to join the craft expert at his bespoke workshops taking place at Modhesh World. Lloyd Warbeys arts and crafts workshops are being hosted part of the 18th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). DSS 2015 runs until 5 September, under the theme, 45 Days of Summer.

Lloyd Warbey is at the popular family-friendly edutainment destination until 15 August, to lead five hour-long free-of-charge workshops at 11pm, 1pm, 3pm, 6pm and 8pm. Kids with a creative streak are being drawn to these exciting workshops where Lloyd, through his engaging style, is teaching kids valuable lessons not only in arts and crafts but also encouraging them to enhance their team work and interpersonal skills.
Lloyd begins his workshop with a short orientation that allows children to become familiar with all the craft instruments that will be available to them followed by a quick demonstration on how to use them. Next, he requests children to kick off their mini projects using step-by-step guidelines and begin creating their wonderful pieces of arts and crafts.

As part of the workshops, Lloyd also invited parents to join their kids in the fun and add to their excitement, who were preparing the nicest art and crafts creations, which the children were seen carrying around everywhere throughout their stay at Modhesh World. Over the years, Lloyd has become a source of inspiration for thousands of children worldwide and at his workshops in Modhesh World, visitors are getting a first-hard experience of the versatile presenters highly dynamic and friendly style of interaction which encourages every kid to eagerly take part in the fun-filled activities.
From demonstrating the importance of eye-hand coordination to offering a number of creative tips and tricks such as perfecting the art of colouring and drawing, and encouraging them to become independent, Lloyd is being seen motivating his young guests throughout his five workshops with the same level of energy.

Addressing his little guests at one of the workshops at Modhesh World, Lloyd said, You will leave the Modhesh World stage today with many memories and an increased level of confidence. Remember that you can always create unique pieces of arts and crafts using simple tools you will find easily at home and at your school. Lloyd Warbeys arts and craft workshops at Modhesh World are also encouraging children to work in teams - helping young kids appreciate the value of working in groups and interpersonal skills. From sharing their tools with new friends and patiently waiting for their turns kids were seen having a fun-filled learning experience in the lively atmosphere that Lloyds presence is creating at Modhesh World.

Children too expressed their excitement in being able to meet the celebrated craft expert and getting the opportunity to create art pieces under his one-on-one guidance taking home fantastic memories they will cherish forever. Dubai Summer Surprises and Modhesh World are organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). The 16th edition of Modhesh World, which kicked off on 9 July 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and runs until 29 August under the theme- Every step is a new adventure, has many other features and facilities including exclusive souvenir shops showcasing Modhesh World memorabilia, an array of dining outlets featuring a variety of cuisines, in addition to two dedicated lounges for families to relax. Modhesh World opens at 9am until midnight from Saturday to Wednesday and from 9am to 1am on Thursdays and Fridays. The entrance fee is AED 20 for kids and adults and entry is free for kids under 3 years of age.
