Chefs Championing “Healthy Food for the Future” for Kids on International Chefs Day

Nestlé is celebrating #InternationalChefsDay on October 20 under the theme of “Healthy Food for the Future,” with commemorations in the Middle East and North Africa consisting of a live broadcast at 5 p.m UAE Time on the Nestlé Professional MENA Instagram page. 

It features Nestlé and renowned chefs, a nutritionist, and kids making a well-balanced menu for the day consisting of six different recipes that are tailormade for kids as per their nutritional requirements, using components chosen for their nutritious and environmentally favourable characteristics such as Kale, Flaxseed, Carrots, and Spinach.
 
“We continue to actively celebrate International Chefs Day every year in partnership with Worldchefs, which is the World Association of Chefs Societies, in line with the Nestlé for Healthier Kids international plan to help 50 million children live healthier lives by 2030,” said Joe Aouad, Nestlé Professional Business Executive Officer in the Middle East & North Africa. “We are committed to working our part in promoting healthy eating and healthy cooking, and encouraging with elements that are good for health and good for the planet.”
