Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Egypt, Baker Hughes, a GE company (NYSE: BHGE) revealed a significant subsea contract from Petrobel for phase two of the "supergiant" Zohr Gas Field located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the Egyptian coastline. The project highlights the company's position as the world's very first and only integrated fullstream service provider of innovative subsea technology, products, services and digital solutions.

As a long-lasting partner to Egypt, BHGE will offer project management, engineering procurement, fabrication, construction, screening and transport of a subsea production system, consisting of seven manifolds, tie-in systems, long balanced out subsea and topside control systems, SemStar5 HIPPS (high stability pressure protection) Equipments, workover systems and devices, and will sustain the installment, appointing and start-up operations.
