Azizi Developments sponsors another thrilling Racing at Meydan event

In line with its master-planned community presence in Meydan and long-standing partnership with Dubai Racing Club, Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, sponsored Racing at Meydan, the regional race meet that features the GCCs most prominent equestrians, through six races named after some of its most renowned projects, including Berton, Park Avenue, Al Furjan, Creek Views, Riviera and Mina.

Azizi also sponsored a race meet during the Dubai World Cup Carnival, the races leading up to the Dubai World Cup (DWC), the worlds most spectacular race day.

During the race meet, which was hosted on the 11th of March 2021, Mr Mirwais Azizi, founder and chairman of Azizi Developments; Mr Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Developments; and other senior executives from the firm, awarded the winners of the six races.

Remarking on Azizis sponsorship, Mr Farhad Azizi said: We take pleasure in our continued association with this sport and in sponsoring this outstanding event once again. In bringing together some of the worlds best equestrians, we support the horse-racing culture and its development in the UAE and beyond. This sponsorship came as part of our strategic corporation with Meydan, with our flagship French Mediterranean-inspired community development Riviera in MBR City being located in immediate vicinity to the Meydan Grandstand, and is deep-rooted in our pride and passion in supporting significant events that bring communities together.

We look forward to more exciting races in the future and would like to thank all the participants. We wish them the best of luck in future events, Azizi continued.

Azizi Developments is in alignment with the governments pursuit of solidifying Dubais standing as a prominent destination for sports and international high-calibre events. The developer sees this event as an ideal opportunity to inspire interest and participation in equestrianism as well as in Dubais rich heritage and vision.
