Dubai, UAE - Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has forged a strategic partnership with UK-based engineering firm Arup for the spatial planning of Azizi’s Opera, a pivotal component of its esteemed mixed-use development, Azizi Venice, situated in Dubai South.

Established in 1946 in London, Arup is renowned for its expertise in various disciplines, including structural and civil engineering, environmental advisory, and lighting design. The firm has contributed to shaping some of the world's most iconic construction projects, emphasizing holistic solutions that prioritize efficiency and functionality.

Mr. Farhad Azizi, Chief Executive Officer of Azizi Developments, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to be partnering with the renowned Arup, whose expertise in engineering and design perfectly aligns with our commitment to delivering unparalleled luxury. Azizi Opera will become one of the most notable venues for cultural and community events in Dubai. We are eager to witness our joint efforts bringing about this state-of-the-art opera house.”

Azizi Venice, with an approximate investment of AED 30 billion, will encompass over 30,000 residential units across approximately 100 apartment complexes, along with 400 luxury villas and mansions. As the master developer, Azizi Developments will oversee the construction of buildings, roads, and infrastructure within the development.

Central to Azizi Venice is its luxurious pedestrian-friendly boulevard, designed to be open-air in the winter and glass-covered in the summer to ensure a temperature-controlled environment for year-round activities and visitors. The boulevard will feature three-storey buildings hosting top retailers, entertainment options, and eateries representing various cuisines from around the world.

Located at the heart of the boulevard, Azizi Opera will be built to the highest contemporary standards in design and architecture, poised to become a premier venue for high-caliber events in the emirate.

Anticipated to be a prime tourist attraction and upscale local hotspot, Azizi Venice aims to welcome over 30,000 visitors daily. The community will boast two Azizi-owned and operated five-star hotels at its entrances, along with a boutique hotel situated on an island in the middle of the lagoon. Additionally, a significant number of underground parking spaces will be constructed to facilitate easy access for tens of thousands of daily visitors to Azizi Boulevard and Azizi Opera.
