AURAK Civil Engineering Program Granted ABET Accreditation

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has this week announced that its Bachelor's degree in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering has been given accreditation by ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC).

The prestigious Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, or ABET, is the leading approving body for post-secondary scholastic programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology, and this latest accreditation recognizes the quality of the AURAK program.

This welcome news follows from a site browse through which occurred in October 2016, where a three-person team saw the university's school in Ras Al Khaimah, and now implies that 3 programs within the School of Engineering are accredited by ABET: its Bachelor of Science in Computer system Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering, and the Bachelor of Science in Civil and Infrastructure
Engineering.
