wasl properties, one of the biggest real estate development and management companies in Dubai, has unveiled its celebration of the spirit of the holy month by launching its Ramadan opposition that seeks to reward artistic flair with superb prizes. The annual competition, which is in its tenth edition this year, aims to spotlight the creativity of wasl tenants by encouraging them to draw idea from the beautiful Ramadan atmosphere.

The annual competitions welcome participation from all ages, with a painting challenge for wasl tenants kids and a photography contest for adults.

wasls Ramadan Painting Competition is designed for young tenants of up to thirteen years old, and participants will be required to paint a piece reflecting the actual meaning of Ramadan. With an iPad up for grabs each and every week, artworks have to be uploaded to the website https://ramadan.wasl.ae/ for them to be voted on publicly and judged by the wasl committee. At the end of the holy month, one winner out of the four chosen over the course of the competition will be awarded the grand prize of a scholarship of up to AED 25,000.

For adults, wasl launched the Ramadan Instagram Photography Competition, which invites anyone over the age of 13, even non-tenants, to capture the actual meaning of the holy month. Those fascinated in taking part have to share their images on Instagram using #waslRamadan2020 and mentioning @waslgroup. Each entrant can upload an limitless number of photos, and the wasl committee will determine which fortunate entrants will win one of four iPads every week.
