Als Emirates Ready Mix Concrete Establishes First Factory in Dubai’s Industrial Hub
Als Emirates Ready Mix Concrete, one of the UAE’s leading producers and suppliers of high-quality ready-mix concrete, has announced the establishment of its first factory in Dubai, located within Dubai Industrial City—a major industrial and logistics destination under the TECOM Group.
The new factory, spanning over 160,000 square feet, marks a significant milestone in the company’s regional expansion and reinforces its commitment to supporting the UAE’s rapidly growing construction sector. Once operational in the third quarter of 2026, the facility will have a production capacity of up to 400 cubic meters of concrete per hour, positioning it among the most advanced concrete manufacturing sites in the country.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Saud Abu Al-Shawareb, Executive Vice President of TECOM Group – Industrial Sector, representing Dubai Industrial City; Saif Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Bin Fadhel Holding; and Peter Celis, CEO of the Building Materials Division at Als Emirates Ready Mix Concrete, along with senior representatives from the UAE’s construction sector.
The state-of-the-art facility will include advanced administrative and operational infrastructure, integrating energy-efficient and sustainable technologies to optimize concrete production. This expansion highlights the company’s goal of strengthening national capabilities in line with the UAE’s “Project 300 Billion” strategy, the “Make it in the UAE” initiative, and Dubai’s D33 economic agenda.
Speaking on behalf of Dubai Industrial City, Saud Abu Al-Shawareb emphasized the project’s alignment with the UAE’s long-term vision:
“We are delighted that Als Emirates Ready Mix Concrete is expanding its operations nationwide through its new plant in Dubai Industrial City. This initiative enhances national capabilities for producing ready-mix concrete to the highest standards and supports sustainable construction practices across the region, in line with the UAE’s industrial and economic growth strategies.”
He added that Dubai Industrial City’s strategic infrastructure, connectivity, and industrial ecosystem continue to attract major players and foster innovation within the UAE’s manufacturing and logistics landscape.
Peter Celis, CEO of the Building Materials Division at Als Emirates Ready Mix Concrete, described the new plant as a pivotal step in the company’s growth journey:

Our investment in modern technology and strategically located industrial facilities enhances our ability to provide efficient, sustainable, and high-quality concrete solutions for projects of all sizes, driving innovation in the construction industry.”
