Advanced Electronics Company reiterates commitment to leading Saudi Arabias digital transformation at GITEX 2019

Showcasing Saudi Arabias capabilities in the technology sector, Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) company, closed its participation at GITEX Technology Week (GITEX 2019) in Dubai, UAE, where it won a GITEX Award in the class of smart cities and declared four vital MOUs.

In addition to featuring its cutting edge digital suite of cybersecurity, e-services, e-Health, and smart solutions, the organization signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) that are planned for supporting the Vision 2030 goals of empowering an advanced digital infrastructure in the Kingdom.

The company inked concurrences with Megvii, Labiba, Nutanix and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologys Yesser e-Government Program during the five-day event. The coordinated efforts will further strengthen AECs specialized expertise in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, process-automation, and other key regions, supporting the companys drive to further create Saudi Arabias indigenous capabilities through the transfer and localization of technology.

Also; Liferay, a US company that enables software that helps companies create digital experiences on web, mobile and connected devices, announced AEC as the first Gold Partner in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Andreas Schwer, CEO of SAMI, visited AECs remain on the first day, where he met AECs senior officials and was briefed on AECs participation and the exhibited digital solutions.

During the event, AEC invited a number of senior authorities and industry pioneers to its stand, including H.E. Majid Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing, H.E. Dr. Khalid Bayari the assistant Minister of Defense for executive affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi the head of the National Information Center, H.E. Turki Aldakhil the Saudi ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Eng. Fahd Al Solaie the Undersecretary of digital transformation and information technology, Ministry of Justice, and Ms. Mariya Didi the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Maldives.
