ADNOC Technical Academy Reinforces Commitment to Developing Young Emiratis at National Service Career Fair

The ADNOC Technical Academy (ATA), a leading education and technological training provider, took an active role in this year's National Service Career Fair as it looks for to hire talented UAE nationals for its 2018 intake. The ATA provides its trainees a hands-on training and education program that prepares them for professions in Abu Dhabi's oil and gas industry.

Established in 1978, the ATA has provided education and technical training to more than 5,000 UAE Nationals, that, after graduation, have signed up with ADNOC's labor force. Its advanced centers - workshops, smart class, scientific research laboratories and simulation centers - combined with world-class instructors and training programs, make sure that ATA trainees are geared up with the wide-range of mechanical, technological and important skills had to comprehend and lead processes in the oil and gas industry.

Dr. Mohammad Al Menhali, Manager of ATA, said: "As one of the most established technological institutes in the UAE, we boast of our tradition of developing technicians and operators. As the demand for extremely skilled professionals and area drivers will only boost, the ATA will certainly expand on its goal to continue to expand the pool of local Emirati technological talent."

In September 2017, ATA presented a new 2.5-year program that incorporates class learning and on-the-job training. The new training course includes an enhanced and upgraded curriculum, decreased program duration and modified student recruitment requirements. One of the new entrance needs is that trainees have currently finished their national solution and got their senior high school diplomas.

Mr. Mohammad Al Busaeedi, Student Services Manager at the ATA, commented: "ATA's rigorous program requires the highest performance from trainees in term of self-control, resilience and effort. These are qualities related to candidates that have efficiently completed their national service."

The National Service Career Fair 2018 gives graduates of the National Solution Program the possibility to consult with leading business and education institutions.
