Safety And Security Specialist Lead

Key Role:
Provide a wide range of international safety and security planning, operations, physical security controls, processes, and crisis management support for Booz Allen operations in the region. Manage physical security controls and processes at Booz Allen sites. Manage and implement a crisis management training, test, and exercise program for the firm, including tabletop and functional exercises. Maintain responsibility for technical tools, data, and resources to support international safety, security and crisis management operations and assist with the development and implementation of safety and security processes regarding transportation, lodging and office space for the firm. Manage and schedule safety and first aid training, including AED and CPR training, provide ongoing situational awareness, and advise MENA and corporate security leadership on existing and emerging risks to firm staff, offices, and operations in the region. Support the company s response to crises, threats, and incidents in the region. Identify key safety and security issues and priorities and make recommendations to MENA and US management on regional security matters.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with working in the MENA region
-Experience with designing and executing facility and area risk assessments
-Experience with managing security technologies, including CCTV and access control systems
-Experience with planning and conducting close protection operations, including in austere environments
-Knowledge of writing emergency response plans, contingency plans, evacuation plans, and emergency or tactical standard operating procedures (SOPs)
-Ability to develop and conduct safety, security, and crisis management training for employees and leadership
-Ability to develop and manage force protection surveillance detection plans and programs
-Ability to travel to locations in the MENA region
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with crisis management, business continuity, and corporate security in a multinational company
-Experience with Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level
-Knowledge of Arabic preferred
-Knowledge of project, cost, and business management disciplines
-Ability to articulate and present cost effective, intelligent, decisive, and risk-managed security recommendations
-Ability to be self-driven and results-oriented to effectively work multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain international risk landscape
-Ability to display multi-cultural awareness
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills, including briefing senior corporate executives
-BA or BS degree in a Security, Safety, or Crisis-related field
-Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Certification preferred
