Landmark Group’s fashion destination Centrepoint rolls out expansion plans

Landmark Group’s major fashion retailer, Centrepoint, plans to open 18 new stores across places in the GCC by June 2020, taking the brand’s consolidated store count in the region to over 160. The new expansions include the recently opened store in Mall of Muscat, launch of the first Centrepoint store in Oasis Mall Sharjah, followed by the newest store now open in Al Ahsa Mall, Dammam.

Presently, Centrepoint operates 144 stores across 7 countries. The expansion is anticipated to increase the retail space to 6.7million sq ft, making Centrepoint one of the largest fashion destinations in the region.
The growth and expansion of the brand is part of the Group’s strategy to more invest in the brand’s presence and bolster its foothold in the region by bringing new approaches and technologies to retail in the region. Home to four of the Group’s most loved ideas - Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle and SHOEMART, Centrepoint is continually evolving as a leading family shopping destination in the region, dedicated to offering customers a shopping experience that is convenient and brings them the value they are looking for.

In order to provide to the growing consumer demands and improve overall in-store experience, the newly designed ‘Stores of the Future’ will contain offerings that deliver a seamless Omni-channel retail experience for customers. This will include enhanced store formats employing the latest technology to create a truly interactive shopping experience.
