GM required for a leading Food company in the region establishing new products in the Dairy category. To lead and motivate a team; Sales Managers, Regional Functional Managers & ND Logistics to effectively achieve the sales and profitability targets.

* Prepare and recommend the region target for both sales and expenses by conducting analysis and preparing detailed data related to historical actuals and future plans, in alignment with line manager
* Set targets for the Region's sales force and monitor, guide and motivate sales management and supervisors in their performance, to effectively manage and control the van sales operation and to realize the sales and profitability targets.
* Translate sales plans and activities into sales forecasts for the Region in co-operation with other relevant functions and ensuring a balanced and achievable distribution of targets throughout individual routes while maintaining the overall regional target in line with market demands and company targets.
* Monitor the financial performance of the region on a weekly basis against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
* Establish and manage projects to improve sales and assist the business to solve issues related to ongoing refinement of the Sales operation
* Identify and address short/medium term strategies to excel in business and stay ahead of competition. Initiate, share and discuss strategic issues for sales, in order to contribute to the development of the Sales and overall company strategy.
* Identify new business opportunities and agree on contractual terms and conditions with existing and new customers to ensure compliance with policies and standards
* Ensure identification, initiation, and organization of sales in new market channels in the Region, aligned with the relevant other departments and in line with the strategy, in order to increase sales, market share and profitability.
* Manage the region sales capacity to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and profitability while ensuring maximum ROI.

* 10 - 12 years relevant experience in Sales / Marketing within the Dairy Category. Including at least 6 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
* Complete P&L responsibility
* GCC Experience.
