What began in 2022 with just two friends in Ras Al Khaimah — Mohammed Al Mazrouei and Fahd Alsaadi — has grown into a full-fledged volunteer movement of over 50 members. These youth not only collect garbage and organise camping spots, but also raise awareness about environmental responsibility. Volunteers like Hakim Al Shehhi and Mohammed Ahmed describe the physically demanding work — trekking through soft sand, carrying heavy trash bags, and enduring long hours — as “worth it” for the sake of their homeland’s beauty.
