What do UAE residents need to know before taking Etihad Rail over the weekend?

With Dubai’s Al Yalayis and Sharjah’s Al Dhaid stations now open, Etihad Rail offers weekend services connecting Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Dhaid and Fujairah, with fares starting from Dh19 depending on the route. Passengers can use station parking, with charges ranging from free parking at Al Dhaid to Dh30 per day at Al Yalayis, while onward travel options include Dubai Metro, shuttle buses, public buses, e-hailing and car rentals. Etihad Rail has also added six extra weekend services following strong demand, giving residents more options for exploring the UAE by train.
